Restoring Dignity to needy Children – Back to school Initiative
Venue: Uloyiso Community Church East London
Province: Eastern Cape Amathole Region
On the 4 January 2020 , Team Zingce embarked on the first upliftment initiative for 2020. The main mission was to empower children from the following impoverished areas:
- Mdantsane
- Nxarhuni
- Nompumelelo
- Zwelitsha
After a powerful empowerment session. Our team handed over toiletries, school shoes and some clothing items. With the assistance of Uloyiso Community church , the team served lunch to the beneficiaries. Children had been identified by the welfare department within the church which deals with a few charities in the region. Some of the children have been abused , exposed to violence , some live with their grand parents as their parents have passed on from Hiv/Aids.
